Chef's tip: add a dollop of this pâté to your steak for a burst of flavour.
225g good quality Stilton
100ml double cream
Pinch of salt and pepper
Pour the cream over the Stilton in a mixing bowl, gently mash until soft then add a pinch of salt and pepper. Fold in the whisky and place the mixture in ramekins.
Serve as a rich starter with water biscuits or toast.
